Event Planning

In addition to performing, I love crafting innovative concerts from start to finish. If you need help with project management, PR, marketing, or a mix of everything, shoot me a message using my Contact page.

In Good (ac)Company: A Virtual Concert Series
Amidst the coronavirus pandemic, the New England Conservatory Nova Fellows (a student-led event production company) were tasked with completely reimagining a live performance at Boston’s City Hall as part of ArtWeek. What emerged was In Good (ac)Company, a 5-night virtual concert series presenting 13 duos of New England Conservatory students and alumni who were randomly paired together and asked to collaborate. The unlikely pairs worked together—virtually—across cities, states, and countries to produce original, heartfelt performances.

I’ve included some of my favorite creations here, as well as my own.

MOSAIC
As executive director of the Nova Fellows, I produced MOSAIC, a commissioned composition by Noga Cabo that unites classical, jazz, and contemporary music with dance, visual art, and spoken word.

Sofar Sounds x Nova
In 2018 and 2019, I served as the finance director of the Nova Fellows, which produced a Sofar Sounds show that brought NEC musicians, dancers, and a painter to an abandoned gallery for a sold-out show featuring a string quartet, a folk trio, and a New Orleans jazz band.

ShapinGroove
The Nova Fellows also produced ShapinGroove, an immersive concert experience that occurred in two halls simultaneously, highlighting four different ensembles that accompanied improvised dance and live painting.

Other Projects
As an NEC 150 Fellow, I had the opportunity to curate a roster of 10 ensembles for NEC's 150th Anniversary celebration, "Open Studios." I have also organized numerous community performances as a member of From the Top's Center for the Development of Arts Leaders and as a Co-Director of Instruments for Change, a non-profit I led in high school.
